When you work as a personal trainer you hear lots of reasons for why people aren't making their health a priority. One of the most common? Life is too short.
Well, I'm sharing with you today why I don't subscribe to that mentality. Life is meant to be long and, more importantly, life is meant to be maximized. Most of us probably have decades ahead of us, so we're fooling ourselves by living out this excuse.
We only get this one body and this one life. Why don't we want to take care of that body as well as we can? It comes down to how are we framing the foundation in which we take care of ourselves. Our lifestyle choices predicate what type of life we're going to live. The choices we make dictate our quality of life.
My question to you is this: are you going to perceive life as long or short?
I promise you that once you start reflecting on where you've been, where you are, and where you want to be it's amazing how long life actually starts to feel.
